The Furniture Liberation Army was originally formed in Ultima Online many many years back.
In fact (I think) The Furniture Liberation Army still exists, with a much smaller membership, in UO.
With the Creation of Guild Wars a new opportunity for the fla has opened up, and so a new chapter has been formed.
Several original fla members are already in GW but we are now looking for new prophets to spread the word.

Mission Statement -
<insane rant>
For centuries humanity has oppressed the rights of our furniture brothers and sisters. The fla will no longer be party to such injustice.
The time has come for the rights of chairs, tables, sofas and beds to be recognized by the population as a whole.
No longer will we stand by while furniture is caged inside of peoples homes and so uncaringly abused.
Sitting down is sadism. Furniture was meant to be free.
FREE YOUR FURNITURE!

It is true that this oppression is not wide spread in the lands of Tyria, In fact in my wanderings I do not think I have seen a single enslaved piece of furniture.
The fla has been very successful in conveying our message here. But eternal vigilance is required. Join us and spread the word.

The fla is a guild with one goal, for its members to have fun.
We are currently comprised of mature, casual players who have a somewhat bent sense of humour.

There are only really two rules in the fla
1. have fun
2. respect other players. Racism, vulgarity and general rudeness towards anyone will not be tolerated.

These are the only things I can think of that would get you kicked out. Yes having fun is a requirement, so smile.... or else.

If you think the fla has something to offer (though we would prefer if you had something to offer us, ungodly sums of money and precious stones are both acceptable)
then post here or send a whisper in game to Sam Katha.
